Police action in case of inciting violence in UP administration, case registered against 5 including SP MP

Violence in Uttar Pradesh: Police have registered a complaint against Sambhal Lok Sabha MP’s son Sohail Iqbal, MLA Iqbal Mahmood and five others for inciting violence in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. All have been accused of inciting violence.

Although the report has not been confirmed yet by the authorities, the police have registered a complaint in this matter and started taking action. After the uproar in Sambhal, the police took 21 people into custody and filed a report against 400 unknown people.

Silence descended on the streets, markets closed, DIG conducted flag march

After the uproar in the district, the police kept patrolling the whole night. Senior officers led the patrol team. Wherever violence has taken place, special focus has been laid on incidents of arson and stone pelting and heavy police force has been deployed. Along with this, suspicious people are also being continuously monitored. The market appeared to be closed on Monday morning also. People are also avoiding leaving their homes. There is silence on the road. In the morning the DIG along with the police force conducted a flag march on the road. Apart from this, even after the holiday declared by the DM, children have not left for school and college.
