Poetry symposium organized in Sahitya Parishad meeting

Saharsa, 29 July (HS). The monthly meeting of All India Sahitya Parishad was organized at the private residence of Vice President Shyamanand Lal Das Saharsa at Kayastha Tola. In the first session of the meeting, which was chaired by Parishad President Awadhesh Jha Awadh and directed by Patron Prof. Dr. Rana Jayaram Singh, topics like literary programs to be held on the upcoming foundation day, book release, discussion cum poet symposium, invitation to poets from different parts of the country etc. were discussed. Also, a provincial convention has been decided to be held on this occasion. The topic of the convention is “Contribution of the folk deity of Koshi region in literature”.

In the second session of the meeting, a kavi goshthi was conducted. In which patron engineer Rameshwar Thakur, Om Prakash Munna, Dr. Satish Kumar Das, vice president Murtaza Nariyarvi, general secretary Anand Jha Muradpuri, joint secretary Murari Singh, writers of the editorial board, Dilip Jha Dardi, Raghuvansh Jha, office secretary Manoj Kumar, etc mesmerized everyone with their poetry.
