Pod car project stopped, Vyapar Mandal expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister

Haridwar, August 6 (HS). District President of Mahanagar Vyapar Mandal Sunil Sethi held a meeting today and accused the Congress of doing politics in the name of the corridor scheme. Sunil Sethi said that in view of the future municipal elections, the Congress is taking to the streets to do politics in the name of traders, whereas a few days ago, Haridwar MLA Madan Kaushik met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and assured the traders that no demolition would be done in the city in the name of the corridor. Also, a proposal was made to make Haridwar a heritage city, so that no trader is harmed.

The Mahanagar Vyapar Mandal has also discussed the issue of traders' interests being taken care of on the corridor in the traders' dialogue with the Haridwar MP. In view of the traders' struggle today, the state government has respected the sentiments of the traders by putting a stop on the pod car scheme, for which the Mahanagar Vyapar Mandal in Haridwar expressed happiness and congratulated each other for winning the struggle by feeding sweets to each other. He thanked Haridwar MLA Madan Kaushik, MP Trivendra Singh Rawat and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Metropolitan President Jitendra Chorasia, Senior Vice President Preet Kamal Saraswat and General Secretary Nathiram Saini said that like the Pod Car Scheme, if in future any harmful scheme comes for the traders in the name of corridor, then the Metropolitan Business Board will be the first to stand up for the struggle and will be ready to talk with the traders from the Chief Minister to the MLA MP. No harm will be allowed to the traders in any form, but no party should use the traders for political gain. After the assurance of the government, this movement of Congress is only related to the Municipal Corporation elections, in which the Metropolitan Business Board will not be involved. Soon the Metropolitan Business Board will honor Haridwar MLA Madan Kaushik and Chief Minister Dhami for supporting the traders on the Pod Car Scheme.

Metropolitan Vice President Sunil Manocha, Senior Vice President Preet Kamal Saraswat, District Vice President Pankaj Mata, Sonu Chaudhary, Mukesh Agarwal, Sanjay Dhiman, Raja Singh, Dinesh Sharma, Bhudev Sharma, Anil Kori, SN Tiwari were present in the meeting.
