Punjab National Bank has issued an alert for its customers by tweeting on its official account. Along with this, the bank has informed that about 3.4 lakh bank accounts without KYC may be closed. For this, it is necessary to get KYC done before 12 August. If this is not done, the account can be frozen.
Both savings and current accounts will be closed
Punjab National Bank has given time till August 12 to its customers to update their KYC. After this, their bank account will be closed. Those whose KYC is not done, their account will be either savings or current account will be closed. After this, customers will not be able to withdraw money from the account.
