PM Modi is going to gift development works worth crores of rupees to Mumbai today. He will inaugurate new platforms at Lokmanya Tilak and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus stations. Apart from this, he will inaugurate projects worth more than 29 thousand crores including road, railway and port sectors. Apart from this, he will inaugurate the Thane Borivali tunnel project worth Rs 16,600 crore.
Mumbai will get the gift of these development works!
- Will reach Nesco Exhibition Centre at 5.30 pm.
- Will launch projects related to transport connectivity in Mumbai.
- PM Modi will give the green signal to projects related to railway, road and port sector.
- PM Modi will visit the Indian News Service (INS) Secretariat at Bandra Kurla Complex at 7 pm to inaugurate the new INS Tower.
- During this, the PM will lay the foundation stone of the Thane-Borivali tunnel project, which costs Rs 16,600 crore.
- This tunnel will save approximately 1 hour of travel time.
- PM Modi will also launch the Goregaon Link Road project worth over Rs 6,300 crore.
- It will connect the Western Express Highway at Goregaon to the Eastern Express Highway at Mulund.
- The project will reduce travel time from the current 75 minutes to 25 minutes.
- It will also launch the Kalyan yard remodelling project and the Gati Shakti multi-modal cargo terminal in Navi Mumbai.
- CM to also launch ₹5,600-crore Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana
- It aims to tackle youth unemployment and provide employment opportunities to youth between 18 and 30 years of age.
