East Champaran, 03 August (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will honour a woman Mukhiya of the district on the occasion of Independence Day. This honour will be given to the woman Mukhiya for her excellent work. According to the information, Sunita Devi, the woman Mukhiya of Mahuwa Panchayat of Chhodadano block adjacent to the India Nepal border of East Champaran district, has received an invitation to receive the honour from the PMO for doing good developmental work in her Panchayat.
It was told that the Mukhiya has built a model Anganwadi centre in his Panchayat, where children can acquire better education while playing. Along with this, along with the boundary wall of the schools, road facilities, a grand gateway has been built on the Indo-Nepal border to give his Panchayat a separate identity.
It is noteworthy that this is the last Panchayat of East Champaran district situated on the Nepal border. The good work done here has made it famous and the Prime Minister is going to honour the Mukhiya here. At present, this news has brought happiness to the entire district along with Mahuva Panchayat.
