AstraZeneca admitted in a UK court that Covishield was causing thrombosis in many people with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). This disease causes blood clotting.
About 250 crore doses of Covishield have been administered in India. After this statement by AstraZeneca, many users felt that Modi's photo has been removed from the certificate.
