Ranchi, September 18 (HS). Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi said that 100 days of NDA government have been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given the task. Minister Annapurna Devi was speaking at a press conference at the Press Club of Ranchi on the completion of 100 days of the Central Government. She said that in 100 days, schemes worth more than 15 lakh crores were launched and inaugurated. A scheme worth three lakh crores has been approved for infrastructure. She also said that 25000 villages will be connected to the main road at a cost of 49000 crores under the PM Gram Sadak Yojana. Kisan Samman Nidhi will be given to farmers. 20000 crores have been given to 9.3 crore farmers. Unified Pension Scheme has been implemented.

The minister said that a PM package of Rs 2 lakh crore will be given to the youth for employment and skills. One crore youths will get an internship opportunity in a top company. Three crore rupees have been approved for PM Awas Yojna. Two crore rural and one crore urban population will get it. He said that Ayushman Bharat will be available for the age group above 70 years, its approval has been received from the cabinet. There will be no income restriction in this. The elderly at home will get its benefit. Six crore elderly people will come under its ambit. PM Jan Man Yojna has been started in 63000 villages.

Annapurna said that more than three lakh crores have been approved in the budget for women empowerment. Under this, 90 lakh groups have been formed under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana. Women are also being given employment through Tourism Didi. PM himself interacted with Lakhpati Didi. Also, 11 lakh have been given the certificate of Lakhpati Didi. The limit of Mudra Yojana has also been increased to 20 lakhs. Women will play an important role in the resolution of developed India.

The minister said that arrangements are being made for safe homes and crèches to enhance the role of women in the workplace. Arrangements for accommodation are being made through working women hostels. Departments and corporate houses are working together on this. Women can complain about sexual harassment in She Box. Women's nutrition is being taken care of through the Nutrition Month. More than five crore 20 lakh activities have been carried out across the country. A plan for freedom from malnutrition and education is underway.

He said that Anganwadi has been developed as a capable Anganwadi center. There were 2500 small Anganwadi centers in Jharkhand. They have been upgraded. The Government of India decided to build 63000 capable Anganwadis, but the Jharkhand government has not helped. There is a problem due to the CDPO posts being vacant in the state. 13.95 lakh Anganwadi workers and assistants across the country have been linked to Ayushman. He said that the Government of India will take many big decisions in the coming days. Ministers of the Government of India also visit aspiring districts to get information about the schemes. Wherever there are difficulties, they are being removed.

In response to a question, he said that Bangladeshi infiltration has increased continuously in Jharkhand. The state government is also silent on atrocities against women. In Dumka itself, a daughter was killed and hanged, cut into several pieces. The state government is not serious about women's safety. Law and order is not good. He said that in a transformational effort towards realizing the Prime Minister's vision of a developed India and emphasizing on women-led development, the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) has achieved many significant achievements from June to August. Through strategic initiatives and innovative programs, the Ministry is continuing to strengthen the framework to empower women, ensure child welfare and increase opportunities for all.

In this direction, the launch of She-Box on August 29 is a significant achievement. This IT platform streamlines the process of redressal of complaints of sexual harassment at workplace, enabling women to register and track complaints. Co-Crèche is working towards setting up centres that will benefit millions of families by 2029. These centres will provide holistic childcare and educational services. They will significantly strengthen the basic pillars of child development and increase women's participation in the workforce.

The minister said that to further strengthen the Anganwadi system, the ministry is focusing on upgrading 10,000 capable Anganwadis, implementation of two-factor authentication system to track the delivery of ration to take home and improving nutrition outcomes across the country. In this series, the 7th National Nutrition Month has started from September 1. The aim of this initiative is to make women and adolescent girls aware about anemia. It will also help in creating awareness about supplementary nutrition, development and promotion as well as early childhood care and education.
