On the occasion of the inauguration of Semicon India 2204, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, adjacent to Delhi. Here he greeted all the people associated with the semiconductor industry. During this, PM Modi emphasized on making India a semiconductor powerhouse. PM Modi said that today India is the eighth country in the world where this program related to the global semiconductor industry is being organized. PM Modi said that I can definitely say that this is the best time for India. He said that our dream is that every device should have a chip manufactured in India. Our government will do whatever is necessary for this.

India has given confidence to the world: PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi said that today's India gives confidence to the world. You are at the right place at the right time. Prime Minister Modi said that you all know and understand the talent of Indian designers. Today, India contributes its 20 talents to the world of designing and it is constantly expanding. He said that we are preparing a semiconductor workforce of 85 thousand technicians, engineers and research and development experts. India's focus is on preparing the semiconductor industry for its students and professionals.

Investment of over Rs 1.5 trillion in a short span of time

On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today India's mantra is to increase the number of chips produced in its country. Therefore, we have taken several steps to advance semiconductor manufacturing. He said that today the Government of India is providing 50 percent assistance for setting up semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the country. State governments are also helping in this at their level. Due to the policies of our government, more than Rs 1.5 trillion has been invested in this sector in India in a very short time.
