Giving information about the honor in a post on Facebook, PM Modi dedicated it to 140 crore Indians.
In his tweet, PM Modi wrote, “I heartily thank President Dr. Irfan Ali for honoring me with Guyana’s highest honor ‘The Order of Excellence’. After the highest honor of Guyana, this is the honor of 140 crore people of India.” Honorable External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also congratulated the Prime Minister through a post on his X handle.
