After Nigeria, now Guyana has honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the country’s highest honour. Guyana President Irfan Ali Solanki on Thursday honored PM Modi with Guyana’s highest honor ‘The Order of Excellence’. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked President Irfan Ali. Giving information about the honor in a post on Facebook, PM Modi dedicated it to 140 crore Indians.
In his tweet, PM Modi wrote, “I heartily thank President Dr. Irfan Ali for honoring me with Guyana’s highest honor ‘The Order of Excellence’. After the highest honor of Guyana, this is the honor of 140 crore people of India.” Honorable External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also congratulated the Prime Minister through a post on his X handle.
He wrote in his post, Another great moment for India as Prime Minister. PM Narendra Modi has been awarded Guyana’s highest national award “The Order of Excellence”. Prime Minister to advocate for the rights of the Global South. And with this in mind, this award is a true recognition of his visionary leadership, sharing India’s growth journey with the world.”
