New Delhi, July 30 (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised BJP MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur's speech in the Lok Sabha and said that it must be heard. The former Union Minister today gave a political reply to the speech of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha.
“This speech by my young and dynamic colleague Anurag Thakur is a must-listen. A perfect blend of facts and humour that exposes the dirty politics of the indie alliance,” PM Modi said on X.
It is noteworthy that Anurag Thakur today strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi's speech on yesterday's budget in the Lok Sabha and said that LOP does not mean Leader of Propaganda. He said that Congress has eaten the 'Halwa' of the scams that happened during the previous governments.
Thakur asked, “Who ate the halwa of Bofors, Antrix Devas, National Herald, Submarine, Augusta Westland, 2G, Commonwealth, Coal, Valmiki, Fodder and Urea scams?”
During his speech, Anurag Thakur made sarcastic remarks attacking Rahul Gandhi's demand for caste census.
It is noteworthy that yesterday Rahul Gandhi had said in the House that some industrialists have got the pudding of the budget. He gave the example of Abhimanyu and said that the government has created Padmavyuh for the public. He was pointing towards the lotus flower which is the election symbol of BJP.
On the speech of the Congress leader today, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the lotus is the seat of Mahalaxmi and is also the national flower. Another name of the lotus is Rajiv. He said that Rahul Gandhi has not even seen the book Mahabharata.
