News India Live, Digital Desk: PM kisan yojana: Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) is a huge financial help for crores of farmers of the country. Recently, as soon as the new government was formed, the Prime Minister first signed the file to release the 17th installment of PM farmer and the money was sent to the farmers’ accounts. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for their next i.e. 18th installment.
Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to eligible farmers every year. This money is sent directly to their bank accounts in three installments of Rs 2,000-2,000. According to media reports, the government may soon release the 18th installment. But this money will come to your account only when you will complete some important work fixed by the government.
If you had any problem in getting the previous installment or you want the next installment to come to your account without any interruption, then you have to deal with two tasks immediately.
These 2 tasks are very important to get money:
1. Complete E-KYC:
The government has made E-KYC mandatory for all beneficiaries. This means that you have to verify your bank account and Aadhaar. If you have not done this yet, your installment may get stuck.

How to do E-KYC? You can complete it through OTP on your base registered mobile number by visiting the official website of PM farmer (PMKISAN.GOV.IN). Or, you can also get E-KYC through biometric (fingers) by visiting your nearest CSC (Common Service Center).
2. Get land verification done:
Apart from E-KYC, it is also very important to verify your land papers. The government wants to ensure that only real and eligible farmers get the benefit of the scheme.

How to get land consciousness? For this, you have to contact the office of the Agriculture Department of your area or your accountant/patwari. They will check the record of your land and update it on the government portal.
Why is this work important?
The government is taking strictness to exclude fake beneficiaries from this scheme. People whose e-KYC or land consciousness will not be fulfilled, their name can be removed from the beneficiary list and they will not get the money for the next installment.
