PM Kisan Ka Paisa Nahi Aaya To Kya Kare: Do not worry if PM Kisan’s ₹ 2,000 has not come to his account, know the complete method of status check and solution.

PM Kisan beneficiary status check 2026: ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’ (PM-KISAN) is the most important scheme of the Central Government to provide financial support to crores of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year is sent directly to the bank account (through DBT) in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each to eligible farmer families. The installment amount is successfully credited to the accounts of most of the registered farmers, but sometimes the money of some farmers gets stuck due to technical shortcomings, discrepancies in the documents or incomplete adherence to the rules. If the installment of ₹ 2,000 has not come to your account this time, then there is no need to panic. You can know the reason from your mobile sitting at home and by taking some easy steps you can get the pending installment.

The biggest reason behind non-receipt of money is the mismatch of information between the agriculture department and bank records. The government has made the verification process extremely stringent to prevent fraud and extend benefits only to genuine land owners. There are mainly four main reasons why installments stop:

  1. Non-completion of e-KYC: The government has made e-KYC mandatory for all beneficiaries. If your e-KYC is incomplete or invalid, the installment is automatically stopped.

  2. Land Seeding being ‘NO’: Verification of cultivable land in your name as per revenue records is mandatory with ‘YES’ on the portal. If Land Seeding is showing ‘NO’ on the portal, payment will not be released.

  3. Failure of Aadhaar Bank Account Seeding (NPCI Mapping): Under DBT, money goes directly to the bank account that is actively linked to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and identity data. If your bank account is invalid or DBT is not enabled, money cannot be transferred.

  4. Discrepancy in name and description: If there is even a slight difference in the spelling of the name entered in the farmer’s application and the name entered in the identity certificate, the PFMS system rejects the payment.

To know the exact reason for non-payment of installment, first of all you have to check your beneficiary status. The process for this is very simple:

  1. Open the official portal (pmkisan.gov.in) in the web browser of your smartphone.

  2. Go to ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage and ‘Know Your Status’ Click on Options.

  3. Now enter your PM Kisan Registration Number and captcha code displayed on the screen.

  4. If you do not remember your registration number, you can get it instantly from your registered mobile number by clicking on the ‘Know Your Registration Number’ link given above.

  5. After entering the details, click on ‘Get OTP’ and fill the OTP received on the mobile and submit.

  6. Now your complete personal details and ‘Eligibility Status’ will open on the screen.

When the status is displayed on your screen, pay special attention to the ‘Eligibility Status’ tab. There you will see three important points:

  • Land Seeding: green tick next to it and YES Should be written.

  • e-KYC Status: Green tick next to this and YES must have.

  • Aadhaar Bank Account Seeding Status: situation here also YES There should be. If any of these three is marked in red NO If it is written, then understand that your installment has been stopped due to this technical reason.

If you notice something is missing from your status, take these steps immediately to fix it:

  • To correct e-KYC: Go to the homepage of the portal and select ‘e-KYC’ option. Enter your identity number and complete face authentication or OTP verification instantly through OTP received on registered mobile. Apart from this, it can also be done through biometric at the nearest CSC centre.

  • To get land seeding ‘YES’: If land seeding is ‘NO’, then contact the Agriculture Department office (Agriculture Coordinator or Lekhpal/Patwari) of your block or tehsil with a copy of your farm’s Khatauni/Jamabandhi (land records), identity card and PM Kisan Registration and get the records updated on the portal after getting physical verification done.

  • Bank Account for DBT Seeding: If Aadhaar Bank Seeding is ‘NO’, immediately visit your bank branch and fill the ‘Aadhaar DBT Enabling Form’ to link the bank account with DBT/NPCI. If you wish, you can open a new DBT savings account in India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), which is automatically linked to NPCI within 24 to 48 hours.

If all your documents are correct and everything is showing ‘YES’ in the status, still the money has not come, then you can lodge a complaint online. There is an option of ‘Online Grievance’ in ‘Farmers Corner’ on the portal, where you can write the details of your problem and submit it. Apart from this, the Central Government has also issued special helpline numbers to assist the farmers.
