Rs 2000 of the 23rd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been transferred to the bank accounts of crores of farmers of the country through DBT. Despite this, many farmer brothers complain that the money has not reached their accounts on time or is stuck midway. Generally it is seen that even after the release of funds by the government, this amount gets stopped due to some minor technical deficiencies or neglect of the beneficiaries. If this has happened to you too, then instead of getting worried and making rounds of banks or government offices, immediately correct these 5 big mistakes.
First of all fulfill the condition of e-KYC verification.
To continuously avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana, it is very important and mandatory to get e-KYC done. For farmers whose e-KYC process is incomplete, the system automatically puts a stop to their installments. Often farmers become relaxed after applying, whereas they should keep checking their status from time to time. You can complete your e-KYC instantly at home through OTP on PM Kisan portal, or at the nearest CSC center with the help of biometrics and Aadhaar linked mobile number.
Aadhaar seeding and NPCI mapping of bank account is necessary
Many farmer brothers think that just linking Aadhar card with bank account is enough, but it is not so. To send the scheme amount directly to your account, mapping of bank account with NPCI i.e. Aadhaar seeding is mandatory so that DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) can work smoothly. For this, always keep your bank account active, check your DBT status and go to the bank to update the Aadhaar seeding process.
Is there ‘NO’ in land seeding status? Get updated like this
The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers in whose name the agricultural land is registered. If your land information i.e. land seeding is not updated in the government records, your installments will stop. Nowadays the government is verifying land documents through online medium. You can check your land seeding status by visiting PM Kisan Portal. If ‘NO’ is written there, then go to the tehsil or concerned agriculture department office with your Khatauni and land documents and get your records attached with the PM Kisan ID.
Re-check name spelling, bank details and mobile number
Changes over time or omissions in the information filled while applying also become a major reason for installment getting stuck. Many times the spelling of the name recorded in the Aadhaar card and the spelling of the name recorded in the bank account or application form do not match. Apart from this, if the mobile number, address or bank account is changed and it is not updated on the government portal, then the money does not come on time. Therefore, whenever you make any change in your personal information or bank account, make sure to correct it in the records of the scheme as well.
Correct mistakes in minutes sitting at home or from the nearest common service center.
If you are also troubled by the delay in getting the installment, then you can correct all these mistakes online yourself through the official website of PM Kisan or PM Kisan App. Apart from this, you can easily get all the problems like e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, land seeding, bank linking and correction in name spelling solved by visiting the nodal officer of your village or the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
