Dwarka Expressway News: The Haryana portion of the Dwarka Expressway has been inaugurated today. This is an elevated expressway. This will help ease traffic and reduce vehicular congestion on National Highway 48 between Delhi and Gurugram. This 19 kilometer stretch with 8 lanes has been prepared at a cost of about Rs 4100 crore. It will provide direct connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Gurugram Bypass. It was inaugurated by PM Modi. Before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Haryana and held a road show there.

Prime Minister Modi posted some pictures of Dwarka Expressway on his social media account. With this post he wrote that today is an important day for connectivity across India. Today at 12 noon, 112 national highways spread across different states will be dedicated to the nation or their foundation stone will be laid. Haryana portion of Dwarka Expressway will be inaugurated. This project will boost economic growth and is also in line with our efforts to build next generation infrastructure.
