He said these things while addressing a seminar organized to make Mahakumbh plastic free in Prayagraj Municipal Corporation Auditorium on Wednesday. Arun Kumar, Minister of State with Independent Charge of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of Uttar Pradesh Government said.
He said that we will have to launch a campaign not to use single use plastic. So that Maha Kumbh can be made clean, green and plastic free Maha Kumbh. On this occasion, the Minister administered an oath to the people present in the auditorium not to use single use plastic.
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that the campaign that has been launched to make the plastic-free Maha Kumbh a success, we all have to make it a success. We have to work to make not only Prayagraj but the country clean and green by not using single use plastic, only then the life of all of us will remain healthy and safe.
Earlier, Arun Kumar, Minister of State, Uttar Pradesh Government, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Special Secretary Forest and Environment, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board Chairman, Additional Municipal Commissioner Arvind Kumar Rai and other officials were present.
