Jaipur, 22 August (HS). A tree plantation program was organized in the Central Jail on Thursday under the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'. The program was attended by the Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority and District and Sessions Judge, Jaipur Metropolitan II Chandra Prakash Shrimali, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (Additional District and Sessions Judge), Jaipur Metropolitan II Pallavi Sharma also planted trees and gave the message of environmental protection.
During the program, Shrimali addressed the prisoners and said that at present there is a great need for plantation and environmental conservation. Any person can contribute to environmental conservation in any situation. Under this nationwide campaign, he also gave the message to plant a tree in honor of one's mother.
Secretary Pallavi Sharma informed that in order to give the message of environmental protection among the prisoners and to increase the pace of plantation at the national level by the Government of India and to protect the environment by considering trees as a family, a special campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' program was organized.
Secretary Pallavi Sharma, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jaipur Mahanagar II Mandavi Rajvi, Deputy Jailor Indrakumar etc. present in the program gave the message of environmental protection and took an oath to protect the environment themselves while cooperating in plantation. After the plantation program, Shrimali inspected the central prison and took stock of the arrangements.
