Minister of State for Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts and Endowments Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that a vision document of 2047 should be prepared as per the wishes of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Make a plan for the expansion and creation of tourism activities in the vision document, so that along with increasing the number of tourists in the state, all tourists also get a high-class tourism experience. Minister of State Lodhi gave these instructions during the review meeting at Tourism State Development Corporation on Wednesday. Minister of State Lodhi said that tourist satisfaction is our top priority. Pay special attention to the reviews given by tourists. Keep a box for suggestions in the hotel. Create state level dashboard to monitor guest reviews. Display positive reviews on the website. Take negative reviews seriously and improve hotel facilities.
Minister of State Lodhi directed that local cuisine should be served in the hotel. Include and promote regional and local cuisine prominently in the menu. Served local and millet dishes to the guests at the Regional Investor Summit to be held in Narmadapuram. In view of the increasing number of tourists in the state, increase the number and rooms of hotels. Evaluate old hotels and make plans to renovate them. Create appropriate resolution plans for hotels and properties with low occupancy. Complete the process of allotment of outings within a month.
Minister of State Lodhi said that Hanuwantiya is a major tourist destination of the state. Plan to build more hotels and resorts here. Along with this, conduct more and more tourism activities so that tourists can come to Hanuwantiya throughout the year. The works of construction of religious places and development of tourism facilities should be completed within the given time frame.
He directed that the amount of ex-gratia assistance given on the death of officers and employees of the Tourism Corporation should be doubled from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 1 lakh. Minister of State Lodhi was apprised of the assets, activities, achievements, innovations along with the status of officers and employees of the Tourism Corporation through a presentation. On this occasion, Managing Director State Tourism Development Corporation Ilaiah Raja T. and officials of Tourism Corporation were present.
