Hyderabad, 29 February (HS). Haryana Steelers will face Puneri Paltan in the title match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 10 on Friday, March 1. Creating history, Haryana Steelers have made it to the finals of PKL for the first time. The Steelers team entered the title match by defeating defending champion Jaipur Pink Panthers 31-27 in the second semi-final of the 10th season on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Puneri Paltan entered the final by defeating three-time champion Patna Pirates by 16 points in the first semi-final.
In this historic match for the winner Haryana Steelers, Vinay scored 11 points, Shivam Patare scored seven points, Ashish scored four points while Rahul Sethpal scored three points. Arjun Deshwal alone scored 14 points for the Pink Panthers, but he could not lead his team to victory at the crucial moment.
At the same time, in the first semi-final on Wednesday, Paltan team defeated three-time champion Patna Pirates 37-21 and made its place in the title match for the second consecutive time.
In this knockout match for Paltan, captain Aslam Inamdar and Pankaj Mohit scored 7 points each while Mohammadreza Shadloo scored five points and Mohit Goyat scored four points. For three-time champion Patna, captain Sachin Tanwar took five points while Manjeet and Sudhakar got only four points each.
