Jaipur, 27 November (Hindustan Reporter). To get information about research, Panchakarma and other methods in the field of Ayurveda medicine, the team of Philippines Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care and Food and Drug Administration Philippines made a one-day visit to the National Institute of Ayurveda Deemed University, Jaipur located at Zorawar Singh Gate. Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Sharma welcomed all the members. Dr. Anupam Srivastava, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology, informed the Philippines delegation about the work and research being done in Ayurveda medicine by the National Institute of Ayurveda, Manak University. The team members discussed with the department heads of NIA and informed them about the activities of FDA and PITHAC.
Vice Chancellor of National Institute of Ayurveda, Prof. Sanjeev Sharma said that an MoU was signed by the National Institute of Ayurveda with PITHAC regarding research in Ayurveda in the dignified presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2022. Under this MoU, it will open the way for the possibility of getting information for setting up a drug testing lab in Pithek and opening an Ayurveda center in the Philippines in a collaborative manner. During the one-day visit, representatives of the team from Pithec and Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines took information about OPD, Panchakarma Department, Central Lab, Simulation Lab, Pharmacy Department, Anatomy Department, Drug Lab along with other departments at the National Institute of Ayurveda.
