Pilgrimage group leaves for Gayaji for mass Pind Daan

Udaipur, 20 November (HS). Under the auspices of Sindhu Samajik Seva Samiti, a group of 65 devotees left for Gayaji (Bihar) on Wednesday. This group is going for the 13th mass Pind Daan.

Jagdish Nichalani of the committee said that this holy journey has been organized under the leadership of the dedicated members of the committee, Shyam Nichalani, Mahesh Rajani and Mansi Khaturia. This journey is done in Hindu religion for the peace of the souls of the ancestors. Mass Pind Daan will be held in Gayaji on Friday 22nd November. The group will return to Udaipur on 24th November.

Senior members of the committee and social workers were present to bid farewell to the devotees at Udaipur railway station. These included many dignitaries including Kishan Talreja, Omprakash Ahuja, Harish Tanwani, Pawan Ahuja, Anup Bhambhani, Rahul Nichlani, Ajay Nichlani, Zubin Khaturia and Lakshita Sadhwani.

Members of Sindhu Samajik Seva Samiti said that this is the 13th mass Pind Daan Yatra organized under the aegis of the committee. The committee has made dedicated efforts to make it successful and easy, so that awareness about Pitra Tarpan and religious tradition can increase in the society. During this yatra, devotees will visit the holy places of Gayaji and perform proper rituals for the peace of the souls of their ancestors.
