East Champaran, 10 October (HIST). Phula Pati ritual was celebrated in Nepal's Virganj Gahwa Mai temple on Thursday during Shardiya Navratri. During this, Maa Durga's doli was taken out from the Revenue Office of the Government of Nepal. Before the departure of the Doli Yatra, Maa Durga was given a guard of honor with state honors by the soldiers of Nepali Army, Nepal Police and Nepal Armed Police.
After this, the tunes of the army band were played. Then the doli of Maa Durga was taken to the temple with full decorations. The Doli Yatra was led by Birganj Mayor Rajeshman Singh. District Magistrate of Parsa District of Nepal Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, Parsa SP Kumodh Dhungel along with other administrative officials participated on the spot. After the doli reached the Gahwa Mai temple complex, worship was performed with rituals. After this, Panchabali was offered. There was a fair atmosphere in Veerganj regarding Phula Pati.
On this occasion, people from Raxaul, East and West Champaran and many other districts of Bihar had come to see the Phula Pati fair. To ensure that the devotees do not face any problem during the fair, Nepal Police, Nepal Armed Police Force personnel and volunteers were taking charge of law and order in the fair.
