PF Claim Reject: PF claim has been rejected, know how to withdraw money from PF account

PF Claim: If you have applied for PF claim and are worried about its rejection, then do not panic. To overcome this problem, Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) had issued instructions last year itself, so that customers do not have to face such problems.

What do EPFO guidelines say?

According to EPFO, no single claim will be rejected for multiple reasons. Along with this, the department had also directed the officials that no claim should be delayed unnecessarily and if the claim is rejected again, the reason should be clearly stated.

According to EPFO guidelines, if any deficiency is noticed while filing the claim of any EPFO subscriber, then inform him about it in advance, so that his claim does not take much time. If even after this the claim is rejected, all the claims should be sent for review and their deficiencies should be removed and then the member's claim should be processed within the stipulated time.

According to the guidelines, all the deficiencies found in the claim will have to be immediately informed to the employees, so that no PF account holder has to face problems again and again. The department says that every claim should be thoroughly investigated.

EPFO has received many complaints when officials have rejected people's PF claims without giving any proper reason, due to which the member has to face problems.

In the new guideline, EPFO has also said that field offices will send any canceled PF claims to the zonal office for review. Also, the member's claim should be settled within the stipulated time limit.
