Download the Umang app on your mobile. Click on EPFO in the app. Click on Employee Centric Services in it. After this click on View Passbook and enter your UAN and Password. You can check the PF balance by entering the OTP received on the registered mobile number in the specified place.
find out by missed call
You can also find out whether the company has deposited money in PF or not by making a missed call from your phone. For this, your mobile number should be registered with EPFO. To get balance information through missed call, the PF customer has to make a missed call to 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number. After some time, the account information will come on your mobile through SMS.
Know account status through SMS
To know the PF balance through SMS, send an SMS to 7738299899 from the mobile number registered with EPFO. For this you have to type EPFO UAN LAN (language). If you want information in English, write ENG instead of LAN. For information in Hindi, type HIN instead of LAN. To get account information in Hindi, write EPFOHO UAN HIN and send it to 7738299899. You will get a message of PF balance on your mobile.
