Petrol-Diesel Price Today: Every day at 6 am, new rates of petrol and diesel are updated across the country. Fuel rates are issued by the country's major government oil companies like Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum and Indian Oil, which are based on the price of crude oil in the international markets. The prices of petrol and diesel remained stable at the national level on Tuesday.
On Friday, the price of petrol in Rajasthan was Rs 108.11 per liter, which can be seen an increase of 0.35 paise as compared to Saturday. The price of diesel is Rs 93.74 per liter. In which an increase of 0.33 paise has been seen. From a business point of view, it is more expensive to make diesel than petrol, but in India, petrol is sold costlier in the open market and diesel is sold cheaper.
Petrol and diesel prices are based on the Dynamic Fuel Pricing System. It is constantly revised. Their prices are then determined by factors such as the rupee to US dollar exchange rate, crude oil cost, global signals and fuel demand, among others. After the implementation of the new scheme, fuel rates are revised every day at 6 am from June 2017.
