The meeting was held under the chairmanship of association president Ravinder Dhillon, where the president said that the government oil agencies have not increased the commission of pump dealers for the last seven years. Due to which there is deep anger among all the petrol pump dealers, while several rounds of talks were held with government agencies regarding increasing the commission. The number of petrol pumps in the district is more than 100. President of Petrol Pump Dealers Association, Ravinder Dhillon said that all petrol pump dealers have been demanding increase in oil commission from government agencies for a long time. When petrol was around Rs 65, a commission of Rs 2 per liter is being given on diesel and Rs 3 per liter on petrol. Now it is around Rs 100 but the commission has not been increased. There is deep resentment among all the dealers due to the lack of increase in oil commission.
In protest against this, there will be a strike for two days from 5 am on March 30 to 5 am on April 1. State President of Sanjeev Petroleum Dealers Association, Haryana, Sanjeev Chaudhary said that there will be a two-day strike in the entire state. Petrol pump dealers are being neglected by government agencies. Oil commission is being increased for seven consecutive years. In view of the strike of petrol pump dealers, central oil agencies have called an important meeting in Delhi on Thursday. While discussions will be held with representatives of oil commission agencies, if no proper solution is found in the meeting then the strike may be extended indefinitely.
