Lucknow, 17 May (HS). A two-day national seminar was organized on Friday at Azad Group of Institutions. Doctors from India and abroad and representatives of asthma manufacturing companies participated in the seminar. Doctors in the seminar said that personalized medicine is effective even in serious diseases like cancer.
On the occasion of inauguration of the seminar, Prof. of the Department of Pharmacology of King George's Medical University. Dr. R.K. Dixit emphasized on working together of science and technology with pharma and management.
Dr. Dixit said that working alone like a pillar will do you no good and your entire talent will go waste. We will have to work together, we will learn something from you and you will be able to do something bigger than us.
Dr. Rohit Krishna of the Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Bihar said that personalized medicine can play an important role in keeping people healthy in the future.
Dr. Rohit Krishna said that the risk of side effects is less in this. In personalized medicine, medicine is given considering the patient's family background, environment, gender and age and other symptoms. Personalized medicine proves effective in chronic diseases like cancer, cardiovascular and cardiometabolic disorders.
Dr. Shafeeq Ahmed, Director of Azad Group of Institutions, said that only when all the departments work together, something productive will happen. He expressed his gratitude to all the delegates who came to this multi-disciplinary international conference.
Dr. Akash Singh of Bioverse Technology Limited, organizing secretary of the seminar, said that on Saturday, there will be a discussion on the use of technology in management and how organic products can be promoted.
Senior scientist Dr. Himanshu Narayan Singh from New York and Dr. Ektrin Kopper from North Eastern University London will address the seminar on Saturday.
