Prayagraj, 28 February (HS). Allahabad High Court has summoned a personal affidavit from ACP Rajiv Kumar Yadav in the case of beating of advocate Amarjeet Singh in Colonelganj police station.
The court has said that the complete report should be presented on the next date of hearing. The court will hear this matter on March 6. This order was given by the division bench of Justice MC Tripathi and Justice Gajendra Kumar while hearing the petition filed by Neelam Singh, wife of advocate Amarjeet Singh.
As soon as the hearing started, petitioner advocate Ritesh Srivastava presented before the court the case of beating of the advocate by Colonelganj police. Said that the police beat him badly. Even FIR was not registered. Therefore, action should be taken on this. After completion of the hearing, the court called for a personal affidavit from the ACP and fixed the date for hearing the case.
