Firozabad, June 22 (HS). People of Bahujan Samaj Party and Jatav Samaj met Senior Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit on Saturday and submitted a memorandum of five-point demands related to the incident that took place late Friday evening.
In the memorandum submitted under the leadership of Bahujan Samaj Party District President Brijesh Kumar Varun, five major demands have been put forward. In which, the demand was made to conduct an impartial inquiry into the death of prisoner Akash Jatav inside the district jail and take appropriate action by filing a case against the people responsible for the murder. Along with this, the demand was made to give proper compensation to the victim's family, not to take any action against innocent people, and to give financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the deceased family as soon as possible. During this, leaders of BSP and Jatav community were present.
