Amidst the activity of monsoon, the mood of the weather in Bihar (Bihar Weather Update) has once again completely changed. The Meteorological Center (IMD) has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ predicting the possibility of torrential rains in many districts of the state on July 28. People who have been suffering from the scorching heat and scorching sun for the past few days will definitely get relief from the rain, but there is a strong possibility that life will be affected due to the incessant rains. In view of the warnings of the Meteorological Department, the District Administration and Disaster Management Department have also become fully prepared, so that any emergency situation can be dealt with immediately.

Badra will rain heavily in these districts, strict warning from weather department

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there will be cloud cover in North Bihar and Terai areas as well as many districts of South-Central Bihar. There is a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorm in districts like Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Begusarai, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj and Araria including the capital Patna. In these areas, strong winds may blow along with thunder and at some places roads may be filled with water due to heavy rainfall. Meteorologists say that this new phase of clouds has started due to the passing of the monsoon trough line, which will continue to affect the weather of the state for the next few days.

Danger looms in low lying areas due to rise in river water level

Due to continuous heavy rains in Bihar, which is rich in geographical and water resources, the water level of major rivers and tributaries has started rising rapidly. The problem of waterlogging has started arising in many rural and urban low-lying areas, due to which the pedestrians and drivers are facing a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department has also advised farmers to make proper arrangements for drainage in the fields and avoid taking shelter in open fields or under trees during thunderstorm warning.
