Bhagalpur, September 18 (HS). Continuous erosion is continuing in Masadhu village located in Sabour block of the district. More than two dozen concrete houses of this village have fallen prey to erosion. The villagers are forced to demolish their own houses and move to higher places. The villagers are constantly pleading for help from the district administration but no one is listening to them yet. After the news of continuous erosion was published in newspapers and social media, now the district administration has also come into action.
Bhagalpur District Magistrate Dr Naval Kishore Chaudhary said that anti-erosion work has been started. Any villager whose house has been affected by erosion will be given proper compensation. On the other hand, the villagers have heaved a sigh of relief with the start of anti-erosion work.
