Bhagalpur, August 12 (HS). On Monday, in Jogsar police station area of the district, a miscreant who was running away with a gold locket from a child's neck was caught by the local people and after beating him severely, he was handed over to the police.
Khushboo Devi had brought her children from Sabour to get treatment from the doctor. The woman was standing outside the doctor's clinic with her children in her lap waiting for her turn. Meanwhile, three youths came from behind and cut the gold locket from the child's neck and started running away. After the woman screamed, the local people gathered there and caught the two youths red-handed and beat them up badly. After this, the youth was tied to an electric pole with a rope. On receiving the information, when the police of Jogsar police station reached the spot and searched the pocket of the youth, a gold locket was recovered from the youth, after which the police caught both the youths and took them to the police station and is interrogating them.
