People beat up four youths who were looting in the guise of sadhus

Lucknow, August 10 (HS). In the capital Lucknow, four youths who were looting in the guise of sadhus in Gosaiganj area were caught and beaten by the local people. The video of the beating was made public on social media on Friday. The police has taken these four youths into custody and is engaged in further action.

Villagers of Mahurakala Gangakheda village of Gosaiganj caught four people who used to cheat and loot people in the area by hypnotizing them by disguising themselves as sadhus. The local people questioned these people and then beat them up when they did not get the right answers. After being beaten up, the four youths were handed over to the police.

Police station in-charge Brijesh Kumar Tripathi said that initial investigation has revealed that these four youths Akash, Akshay, Rakesh and Amit are residents of Meerut district. These people are being questioned.
