They check every message on their phone thinking whether their salary has come or not. They are calling their colleagues and people from other departments and asking whether their salary has come? Till date, such a situation had never arisen in the state that employees had to crave for their salary.
Jai Ram Thakur said in a statement issued on Monday that the head of the state says that there is no economic crisis. When there is no economic crisis, why are salaries not coming? The government should clarify the situation in this matter as to when the salaries of the employees and the pension of the pensioners will come. Employees do not have any other means of income, they have to support their families with their salaries only. In such a situation, how will the family survive without salary?
Jairam Thakur said that the employee bears all the expenses from his salary. Children's fees, house rent, home loan installments, personal loan installments as well as EMI of credit card etc. have to be paid in the first week of the month. From house rent to ration, electricity-water etc. expenses also have to be paid in the first week of the month. Not being able to deposit loan installments is a big problem in itself. The Chief Minister should tell the employees of the state as to when their salary will come to their account.
