People are angry due to no action being taken in the case of stone pelting on devotees

Dehradun, June 10 (HS). On the evening of March 29, some people from a religious place on Tanakpur Road pelted stones at the devotees going to visit Purnagiri Mata and injured them. There is anger among the people due to lack of action in this matter. Yati Ramswaroop Nand Giri Maharaj of Shivshakti Dham Dasna Devi Temple has demanded action from the administration.

Angry with the administration for not taking any action against the stone pelters, Yeti Ram Swaroop Anand Giri Maharaj and his disciples wanted to fast unto death at the Shaheed Sthal in the court premises on Monday, but the police force present on the spot stopped them from fasting at the Shaheed Smarak. The police force brought them to the CO Sadar office.

CO Sadar Anil Joshi said that they have been removed from there to restore peace. The place for protest or fast has been made in Ekta Vihar in Dehradun. Yeti Ramswaroopanand Giri said that the administration is stopping him from fasting at Shaheed Smarak and is being asked to fast in Ekta Vihar. He demanded that the administration should take strict action against the stone pelters who pelted stones on the devotees.
