Pen artists played Holi with 'petals' in Paradkar Bhawan

Varanasi, 07 April (HS). Giving the message of mutual brotherhood, the pen writers celebrated Holi Milan with great pomp at Golghar Paradkar Smriti Bhawan on Sunday. Under the auspices of Varanasi Press Club run by Kashi Journalist Association, the lyricists made the atmosphere pleasant in the cultural program drenched in tunes amidst the shower of flowers. On this occasion, as the chief guest, Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari said that the work of journalists and photographers has always been challenging. Journalists and photographers of Kashi actively participate in programs related to social concerns.

He said that as a servant I am serving Kashi. Wherever any deficiency is seen, journalist friends should raise awareness about it. On this occasion, the Mayor handed over the first and second prizes to Chandan Rupani and the third prize to Narendra Yadav for the S Atibal Photography Competition. Pradeep Tiwari Memorial Award was given to Ujjwal Gupta, Mansoor Alam Memorial Award to Rohit Sonkar and Vijay Singh Memorial Award to Chandan Rupani.

Chhayaratna Award for the year 2024 was given to Omprakash Rai Chaudhary. Kashi Journalist Association President Atri Bhardwaj and General Secretary Akhilesh Mishra welcomed the chief guest. Varanasi Press Club President Arun Mishra conducted the program.
