PDA working at fast pace on 50 projects in Prayagraj

Prayagraj, 02 November (HS). As part of the preparations for Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, the work of road widening and strengthening is progressing rapidly. Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has left no stone unturned in the preparations to make this huge event a success. A target has been set to complete the work of widening and strengthening of major roads of the city by 30th November for easy movement of devotees and tourists during Mahakumbh.

-31 projects will be completed by 15th November

All necessary steps are being taken to make the Maha Kumbh event smooth and memorable. In view of Maha Kumbh, PDA is working on a total of 50 projects. Of these, 4 projects have already been completed. There are still more than 70 days left for the Maha Kumbh, given that the PDA aims to complete 31 projects by November 15, so that the city's infrastructure can be improved soon.

-Target to complete remaining projects by 30th November

The remaining 15 projects are planned to be completed by November 30. These include widening of roads, strengthening of drainage systems, lighting, and other infrastructure. This will ease traffic in the city and the visiting devotees will not have to face any inconvenience.

-Hanuman Mandir corridor will be completed by 10th December

The target is to complete the work of Hanuman Temple Corridor, which is one of the major attractions of Maha Kumbh, by December 10. This corridor is not only important from the religious point of view, but will also be a center of attraction for tourists. Completion of this work on time will ensure crowd management and accessibility in the temple area.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had recently reviewed the preparations for Mahakumbh. In this meeting, progress reports of the projects run by Prayagraj Development Authority were presented and assurance was given to complete the work in a time bound manner. PDA Secretary Ajit Singh says that crores of devotees are likely to come to Mahakumbh. To facilitate their movement, work on widening, strengthening and beautification of roads is being done on a war footing. Prayagraj Development Authority is committed to making the experience of devotees and tourists memorable by completing all the projects on time.
