Paytm Payment Bank: RBI gives relief to Paytm Payment Bank till March 15, these services will be available even after this

There is a big news for the customers associated with Paytm Payments Bank and that is that RBI has extended the deadline of Paytm Payments Bank for deposit and credit transactions from 29th February to 15th March. Let us tell you that earlier this deadline was till 29th February and the matter had reached the point of canceling the license of Paytm.

Let us tell you that earlier RBI had given clear instructions that after February 29, no other banking services like fund transfer, BBPOU and UPI services will be provided by the bank. But now this limit has been extended till March 15, 2024. Payments Bank directed to settle all pipeline transactions and nodal accounts by March 15.

After this, it has been asked to stop any other transactions from March 16, 2024. After the RBI action on Paytm Bank, users are feeling that first after 29th February and now after 15th March, all the services of Paytm will be stopped, but let us make it clear to you that after 15th March, Paytm UPI will not be available. There will be no effect. If you have merged your Paytm UPI with the bank, then you can make payment through it.
