Jhansi, 25 June (HS). A delegation led by Anchal Adjariya, Central President of Rashtrabhakt Sangathan and Bundelkhand Samridhi Vikas Parishad met the District Magistrate and gave a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister. In which, the employees of the Social Welfare Department and the Bank, due to whose negligence there was a problem in getting scholarship and Sanjana Kushwaha committed suicide, demanded strict action against such people by registering an FIR against them.
It was told through the memorandum that every work is kept pending by the Social Welfare Department and till these people do not receive the money, neither do they give scholarship to anyone, nor widow pension, old age pension, nor do they release the money for the case filed by SC/ST class. There have been many such cases.
Recently, Sanjana Kushwaha, a promising student of Bundelkhand University living in Baragaon area, felt that she would not be able to pursue further studies because she did not get a scholarship. Even after repeatedly visiting the social welfare department and the bank, the scholarship was not given, excuses were made. When the student and her mother said that if she does not get the scholarship, she will not be able to study and will commit suicide. On this, the social welfare department said that so many people keep threatening to die but no one dies, go and die. The student has been instigated to commit suicide by these people.
The delegation demanded that strict departmental action be taken against such people and they should be sent behind prison bars. During this time Indra Kumar Pandey, Arpit Sharma, Deepak Verma, Rahul Nevaria, Bhupendra, Abhishek, Shivam, Arjun, Golu, Sonu, Kunal Khatik, Shibu, Satyendra, Prince Balmiki, Atul, Sumit Kanaujia, Sagar, Manpreet, Rahul, Dharmendra, Shivam, Nitin Balmiki, Monu DJ, Raj Khatik and Ashish Verma etc. were present.
