Patna:- After the great festival of Chhath Puja, an important news has come out for lakhs of passengers returning to their work from Bihar. Every year after Chhath Puja, huge crowd gathers at major railway stations like Patna Junction. Lakhs of people return to their work after celebrating Chhath Puja. This year, Danapur Railway Division has taken special steps to control the crowd and ensure the convenience of passengers.

ban on platform tickets

The railway administration has decided to ban the sale of platform tickets at Patna Junction between November 8 and 11. This means that during this period no person will be able to enter the station without a valid travel ticket. The objective of this decision is to prevent unnecessary crowding on the platform, so that only those passengers who have a valid ticket for the journey can enter the platform.

Explaining the need for this step, DRM of Danapur Railway Division Jayant Choudhary said that after Chhath Puja, there is a special crowd here and usually passengers come to the station with their families, which creates a situation of crowd and chaos on the platform. This system has been implemented to control the situation, so that passengers do not face any problem in boarding their trains.

This step is for the convenience and safety of passengers

In big railway stations like Patna Junction where thousands of passengers travel every day, it becomes very important to control the crowd on the platform. The Railway Administration has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the passengers, so that there is no overcrowding on the platform and no untoward or accident situation is created.

increase in demand for travel

After Chhath Puja, there is a huge increase in the number of passengers traveling from Patna to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and other major cities. Railways needs additional trains and special arrangements for these passengers. An increase in demand for tickets is also seen at Patna Junction during this period, as people travel to return to their work. After this new arrangement of Railways, passengers will be able to avoid any kind of inconvenience and will be able to complete their journey comfortably. This step will prove to be very important from the point of view of passenger safety and management.

Situation normal after November 11

After November 11, this special arrangement will end and sale of platform tickets will start normally. The Railway Administration has clarified that the purpose of this arrangement is only to control the increasing crowd after Chhath Puja and all normal services will be restored as soon as the situation becomes normal.
