A sensational incident has come to light from Patna, the capital of Bihar, which has not only raised serious questions on law and order but has also created an upheaval in the politics of the state. The opposition is attacking the Nitish government after the case of brutal murder of abducted grocery shopkeeper Bunty Yadav from Karbigahiya in Kotwali police station area of Patna came to light. From Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav to Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor, many opposition leaders have termed the law and order situation of Bihar as a complete failure. The name which has made the most headlines in this entire murder case and which is at the center of this conspiracy is ‘Moni Kinnar’. According to the police theory, this dreadful incident of Bunty Kumar was carried out on the instructions of Moni Kinnar.
According to the facts revealed in the initial investigation of the police, Moni Kinnar is a very influential personality associated with the Kinnar community of Patna. He is said to be the leader of a big illegal liquor syndicate running in the area. However, before this his name had not appeared in any police record or criminal case. At the local level, he is being accused of running a prostitution racket along with illegal liquor business, but the police has not yet given any official confirmation on this second angle.
Suspicion of involvement in illicit liquor and informant became the cause of death
According to the official disclosure of the police, the main reason for the dispute between Bunty Yadav and Moni Kinnar was regarding partnership in the illegal liquor business. There had already been a heated argument between the two on this issue. Apart from this, Moni Kinnar had a deep suspicion that it was Bunty who had informed the police and sent her three friends (associates) to jail. Due to this suspicion and rivalry, Moni was very angry with Kinnar Bunty. To remove Bunty from the way, he along with his closest associate Ravish Kumar alias ‘BCiya’ hatched a sinister conspiracy and prepared a complete plan for the murder.

Kidnapping after liquor party, face crushed to erase identity
The confession made by the arrested accused during interrogation is shocking. According to the accused, on the day of the incident, they first had a massive liquor party, after which Bunty was kidnapped. Bunty was taken to an isolated place and beaten brutally. With the aim of completely erasing his identity, his face, eyes and nose were severely attacked with bricks, stones and heavy weapons so that the body could not be identified.
When Bunty’s body was recovered, the brutality inflicted on him was clearly visible. The skin of his right hand was completely missing and only bones were left. There were deep wounds all over the body. The cruelty of the killers can be gauged from the fact that Bunty had a tattoo on his right hand, through which he could be identified; The accused had completely removed the tattoo from the body by stabbing it with a sharp weapon.
Moni Kinnar and Ravish alias BCiya: Cocktail of illegal business and love
A very shocking love angle has also come to light in the investigation of this murder. Ravish Kumar alias BCiya, who was his most important right hand, was responsible for handling the entire network and syndicate of illegal liquor of Moni Kinnar. According to local discussions and sources, Ravish was completely madly in love with Moni Kinnar and there was a deep love affair between the two. Together they used to buy liquor illegally from Uttar Pradesh and bring it to Bihar (Patna) through trains. Here liquor was supplied through local delivery boys. Moni Kinnar herself handled the entire responsibility of managing the earnings and recovery of this illegal business. When Bunty demanded his share in the business and quarreled with Moni, Ravish accepted Moni’s enemy as his own sworn enemy.
Luxury lifestyle and next step of police
Moni Kinnar and Ravish had made huge wealth in a few years from this black business of illegal liquor. Both lived a very luxurious and opulent lifestyle. Ravish was fond of traveling in expensive sports bikes and luxury cars, whereas Moni Kinnar also always maintained herself and drove expensive cars. However, police say that these claims of wealth are still being financially investigated.
Patna Police is now investigating this matter from the angle of economic offense also. Police is finding out how many houses, flats, vehicles and bank accounts are in the name of Moni Kinnar. How many people were involved in this illegal network and which white collar people were getting the benefit from it. Investigation is also going on whether their wires are connected to other states also. At present, the police, showing promptness in this matter, have arrested the main shooter Ravish Kumar alias BCiya after an encounter, along with this, more than 5 accused including Shankar Kumar, Roshan Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Sonu, Suraj and Bajrangi have been arrested. However, mastermind Moni Kinnar is still out of the reach of the police, for whose arrest special teams are continuously conducting raids.
