Pat Cummins took a hat-trick, Australia defeated Bangladesh

After taking two wickets on the last two balls of the 18th over, Pat Cummins completed his first hat-trick of the tournament by taking a wicket on the first ball of the 20th over. He has become the second Australian bowler to take a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup. Earlier, Brett Lee had achieved this feat in 2007.

Australia won on the basis of DLS

Bangladesh reached this score thanks to captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto and Tauheed Hridoy, who played innings of 41 and 40 runs respectively. Australia, chasing the target of 141 runs, got a stormy start from the opening pair of Travis Head and David Warner (53*). Both added 65 runs for the first wicket.
