Passengers will get airport-like facilities at bus stations built on PPP model

Lucknow, 09 July (HS). 12 airport-like bus stations equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will be built on PPP model in Uttar Pradesh. Passengers will get facilities like shopping mall, parking, air-conditioned waiting room, sensor-equipped toilets at these bus stations. Uttar Pradesh State Minister of Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh said that 23 bus stations have been identified in the first phase of construction of bus stations on PPP model. So far, Letter of Intent has been issued for 11 bus stations.

The Transport Minister informed that the Transport Corporation is constantly making efforts to provide passengers a good feeling and a comfortable journey. So far, 26 bids have been received for the construction of 12 bus stations on the PPP model. On July 10, 2024, the technical evaluation will be placed before the Sub BEC under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary for technical scrutiny.
