Passengers evacuated safely from fire in bus

Amethi, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). A bus suddenly caught fire on Friday at Naugji intersection of the town under Jais Kotwali area. This has created panic among the people. The passengers have been evacuated safely.

A private tourist bus from Babhanpur under Nasirabad police station area of ​​Rae Bareli district was going to Rae Bareli City via Jais Kotwali area of ​​Amethi district with passengers. As soon as the bus reached Naugaji intersection of Jais town, suddenly smoke started appearing from under the bus and a fire broke out. Due to this, an atmosphere of chaos was created among about 40 passengers sitting inside the bus.

The police reached the spot after receiving the information and after a lot of efforts, all the passengers in the bus were safely brought out and the fire was brought under control. There has been no casualty of any kind.

Kotwali in-charge Inspector Inspector Ravi Kumar Singh said that according to the bus driver, the vehicle caught fire due to the compressor being back. The fire has been extinguished. The bus has been removed and traffic has been resumed.
