Prayagraj, 08 March (HS). Thousands of participants from various Triple ITs from across the country reached Jhalwa on Friday to showcase their talent in the Khel Mahakumbh starting from March 8 at IIIT-Allahabad, Jhalwa campus.
Dr. Pankaj Mishra of the institute said that the grand inauguration ceremony will be held on Saturday from 5 pm in the main stadium located in Jhalwa campus. In which Olympian shooter Sanjeev Rajput will be the chief guest. Director of Triple IT, Professor Mukul Sharad will be present along with Sutavane and other directors of Triple IT.
Dr. Pankaj Mishra told that on Friday the day started with a fierce struggle on the volleyball court. Where the boys team of Triple IT Surat faced Triple IT Raichur. Both teams displayed remarkable skill in a difficult match. Triple IT Surat team was declared victorious. Along with this, two tough matches were witnessed in the cricket field. In the first match, Triple IT Kurnool faced Triple IT Ranchi. In which Ranchi won by showing its dominance on the field. In another exciting cricket match, Kota faced Triple IT Bhopal in which Kota emerged as the winner.
