167 countries paraded at the opening ceremony
Indian Paralympic Committee President Devendra Jhajharia said that 32 athletes did not participate in the opening ceremony on August 29 due to competitions. 106 members of the Indian contingent from 167 countries participated in the parade. This includes 52 players and 54 officials.
