Pappu Yadav met the Union Minister regarding Purnia Airport | News India


Purnia, September 10 (HS). Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has taken an important step to start passenger service from Purnia Airport. He met Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu in Delhi and urged to start air service in Purnia on the lines of Darbhanga Airport. MP Yadav submitted a memorandum to the minister, in which he suggested that a passenger terminal should be built in Purnia and air service should be started as soon as possible. He said that this will facilitate the movement of the people of Kosi-Seemanchal region.

This was the third meeting of MP Yadav with the minister. He had also raised this issue in the Lok Sabha. The MP said that the minister has responded positively to his proposal. Apart from this, MP Yadav also informed the minister about the solution to the problem of 15 acres of land. He thanked the minister on behalf of the people of Purnia and said that he is determined about this project. This initiative can prove to be an important step in the development of Purnia and surrounding areas, which is expected to boost tourism and business in the region.
