Purnia, 2 April (Hindu). Ever since former Purnia MPs Uday Singh and Pappu Singh announced that they will not contest the Purnia Lok Sabha elections, various kinds of speculations are being made among the people. Someone said that if he did not contest, Pappu Yadav would be defeated, while someone said that if he did not contest, Santosh Kushwaha of the NDA alliance would win. Many people said that Pappu Singh has taken an excellent decision for the future of Purnia.
Only yesterday i.e. last Monday, MP Pappu Singh had announced that he will not contest the Lok Sabha elections from Purnia and will take Jansuraj forward. He also cursed Congress, RJD and NDA and said that for the welfare of the people of Purnia, a good person should have been given ticket but no party did so.
But despite this statement to the contrary, today at around 11:00 am, former MP and Congress leader Pappu Yadav reached Pappu Singh's residence at Police Station Chowk to meet him. He met Pappu Singh and sought blessings for himself. This meeting lasted for about half an hour. Coming out after the meeting, Pappu Yadav said that it was a practical meeting. Pappu Singh is an elder brother for us.
Around 1:00 pm, RJD leader and Grand Alliance candidate Bima Bharti also reached the house of Uday Singh and Pappu Singh to meet them. Bima Bharti said that my parents are equal and I have come to seek the blessings of my parents.
