Ujjain, August 17 (HS). Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Department Minister Inder Singh Parmar attended the foundation day program of Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University on Saturday. On this occasion, he said that Sanskrit is the language of the gods. Praising Maharishi Panini University for its work of propagating Sanskrit, he said that this university is an excellent example of the Indian knowledge tradition that has been going on since ancient times.
Before this, Minister Parmar started the program by lighting the lamp. After the Bhoomi Pujan of the expansion work of Sandipani Shiksha Bhawan, Saraswati Puja was done with Vedic Mangalacharan in the auditorium of Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University. After this, the university's anthem was sung by the students. In the program, Dr. Shubham Sharma's book 'Kavitai Ki Athai' and Dr. Pooja Upadhyay's book 'Suvagvethi' were released.
In the program, he described the rich history of Indian knowledge tradition and the method of collecting knowledge and said that India has been a source of knowledge for the whole world since ancient times. Since ancient times, Indian culture has developed continuously with a scientific approach under the guidance of sages and saints. Through this process, scientific approach and social harmony have also developed in modern Indian society.
He said that in India, education has been given great importance in personality development since time immemorial. Students from India as well as abroad used to come to Nalanda and Takshila universities to gain knowledge of surgery, spirituality, music, mathematics, astrology etc. He said that the new education policy is based on the Indian knowledge tradition. In this, along with basic education, technical skills, personality development, moral education are also being provided to the students. Panini Sanskrit University is a leading university in the implementation of the new education policy.
Higher Education Minister Parmar distributed prizes to winners of Gita recitation Paridhi Reshwal, Kartik Gome, Swasthayan Mishra under Venkatachalam Smriti Competition, Samarth Sharma, Devendra Dwivedi, Aastha Mehta, Vashisht Dubey for Sanskrit speech and Harsh Sharma, Himanshu Gautam for thesis writing. Minister Parmar honored Prof. Rahsbihari Dwivedi in the program. On this occasion, MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Kumar C.G., Registrar Dr. Sandeep Soni, Bharat Bairagi, Principals of the University, employees and students etc. were present.
