Udaipur, May 27 (HS). Today our country's democracy is the strongest in the world and that is the gift of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In 1947, when the first Congress government was formed under the leadership of Pandit Nehru, the condition of the country at that time was not hidden from anyone.
Congress candidate from Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency, Tarachand Meena said this in a program held in Udaipur Rural District Congress office on Monday on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He said that at that time not even a needle was manufactured in independent India. There was no plan for development. In such a time, Pandit Nehru did the work of developing the country and keeping the democracy alive. Gradually, Nehru laid the foundation of development in which opportunities were given to every section of society. In the underdeveloped India of that time, Nehru prepared a blueprint for development in the country through five-year plans. Big schools, colleges and hospitals were built in the country and factories were established.
Udaipur Rural District Congress spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit said that in the seminar organized at the Udaipur Rural District Congress office located at Surajpol, Udaipur Rural District Congress President Kachru Lal Chaudhary said that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, as a visionary politician, laid the foundation of political, economic and social building in the country. Former MLA Trilok Purbiya, remembering Pandit Nehru, said that the country is grateful to Nehru for his contribution in the freedom struggle, peace establishment and the creation of modern India.
